The Farseer Trilogy

Review

The Farseer Trilogy is centered around the life of a young boy named FitzChivalry who is trained to be a royal assassin. Fitz faces challenges that threaten both he and the throne. He does so in creative ways that endear him to readers. Robin Hobb uses first person to tell the story, which gives a very close and intimate view of Fitzís life. Her use of a single point of view doesnít detract from our understanding of the other characters in the book. We get a personal insight into several characters through Fitzís experiences. This is a remarkable feat, which has us adding The Farseer Trilogy to our Must Read Series list.
